Internal Investigations

When a company, non-profit, campaign, or other organization discovers allegations of wrong-doing, it is often in its best interest to initiate its own internal investigation. The Department of Justice has developed important protocols that affect these investigations and it is key that they are led by competent legal counsel.

On such protocol can be found in the 2015 Yates Memorandum, which incentives organizations to disclose the findings of internal investigations that may incriminate individuals within the organization. Consequently, it vital that individuals that might be subjects or otherwise impacted by the investigation immediately obtain competent legal representation. The lawyers at Binnall Law Group will represent organizations and individuals involved in such investigations.
