Shawnay Faircloth

Senior Paralegal



    Shawnay Faircloth graduated in 2006 from the University of Glasgow, Scotland, U.K., with a Master of Philosophy in International Politics, where her studies focused on using international relations theories and methodology to current political decisions and events. Her dissertation analyzed the comparisons and differences between the U.S. and the European Union in international security. Before her postgraduate studies, Shawnay worked for U.S. Congressman J.C. Watts, Jr.’s American Renewal PAC and U.S. Congressman Denny Rehberg.

    She comes from Kelley Drye & Warren LLP where she was a legal assistant in the litigation practice group as well as a key contact for a couple of the firm’s industry-focused, non-profit organizations. Before returning to Washington, D.C. in 2013, she lived in Los Angeles, CA, working in the legal department of Fox Televisions Stations, Inc., gaining knowledge in corporate and talent contracts and film footage licenses.

    Shawnay enjoys British history and the arts and loves traveling in Scotland.
