Mitchell Calhoun is an associate attorney at Harvey & Binnall. Mitchell’s practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation and has represented businesses and individuals in Virginia and Maryland state and federal courts.

In his previous position as an associate at Welter Law Firm, P.C., Mitchell counseled and represented employers of all sizes in litigation matters involving Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Fair Credit Reporting Act in federal and state courts across the country, as well as businesses in related commercial litigation matters in Virginia and Maryland.

After graduation from George Mason University School of Law, Mitchell completed a clerkship with the Honorable Sharon V. Burrell of the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland. During law school, Mitchell was an Associate Editor of the George Mason Law Review, an active member of the Moot Court Board and a member of the student government. While attending law school, he also interned for FCC Commissioner Mignon Clyburn, the Federal Bureau of Prisons and the DC Appleseed Center for Law and Justice.
